On the 20th of November our hearts broke as we had to say goodbye to our Indy Cat who was coming up 14 years old. Handing what feels like your whole world wrapped in a blanket over to the vets was excruciating. Being our first ever time losing a pet we had no idea what to expect when it came to cremation, however the vets told us that Gentle Waters Pet Cremation was incredibly loving, respectful and dignified. Within a few hours I received a text message from Michelle who filled her messages with beautiful emojis and information she had our precious Indy girl safely with her. Her empathy and love through texting and answering any questions I had meant in a time we were in so much pain we had some form of comfort. Their diligence with telling us a time she would be ready and seeing it through was perfect and I even received a message from her before the vet that Indy was ready to be picked up. It is a heart destroying situation to think you are picking up your loved one in a box, however when we collected Indy her ashes were inside a beautiful white tube, covered in black paw prints, with her name and a charm saying love my cat on a gorgeous twine rope. It lifted a huge amount of weight off of us seeing this, knowing they had put care, love and detail into Indy exactly as we had done for 14 years. Thank you Gentle Waters Pet Cremation. We will never forget what you have done for us in a time we are so lost, and especially Michelle who has found her calling in helping family’s like us when we need support the most.
Thank you, Ally & Family
